China Garden Buffet in Gresham

Clean and nice place to eat. Good food.

The food here is so bad that I'm writing this from inside the restaurant. The sushi is stale, hard, and tasteless. Nothing here was satisfying. Everything is over cooked and old. Even the crab ragoons which I usually love, were like, sweet and weird tasting. I want my money back and I haven't even paid yet. I'm just not coming here again!!

If I could give them -5 stars or a 0 stars I would!!! Definitely the WORST buffet I've ever been to!! They over charge first of all for a place that's a complete waste your time and money, hardly anyone to give you proper customer service!!!! The food selection is very scarce and if you dare ask for anything expect not get it or if you do it'll take half hour when you're ready to leave!! Consider yourself warned!!!

Bathroom was covered in racist graffiti for some reason. The accessible bathroom stall had no toilet paper. The food was passable but not great.

Not the best Chinese food in town. But nothing to complain about. Also have sushi.

Great place for kids to eat good food

I was surprised no signs or listing of prices for the buffet.For the price it is a good value.

The staff is what keeps this as 4 versus a 2 or 3 star rating. The place is clean and the food is permissable. The sushi is great though and there are some particular food that I'd get versus others such as getting the broccoli beef and not the salmon (which is sad to say because I love salmon). The overall feel is good, and, like I said before, the staff is great. The drinks kept flowing and the waitress was a joy to have around. Overall worth your time, but don't expect high quality food.

Some of the highest quality food I've had at a restaurant. Very respectful and kind service. I definently reccomend eating here because I sure will again.

Would not recommend this to anyone. Saturday dinner and nothing to eat. They bring out food every hour per manager on duty. Not worth for what we paid for. Waited for sushi to be made for 1.5 hours. Not worth your time. Staff doesnt understand when you talk to them.

Ok for a buffet all you can eat. If you don't like parent letting there kids run snuck climbing over booths screaming..don't go on Sunday afternoon. Staff friendly and attentive. My wife loves the stir fry green beans.

Food was satisfying. No paper towels or seat covers in the restroom. Employees didn't care about that though.

Was fairly slow, Food was hot/Fresh, everything out was consistently good, okay variety of desserts. Not so helpful staff. Kept drink on are table but that was about it there. Would go back. But won't be tipped well until they provide proper service.

Good for the price, but the low customer service

I think the people in charge should be paying more attention to unattended children because today there was this kid tasting the shrimp and grabbing it with his hands play with it and then toss it back on the tray that was disgusting to watch I told the young guy @the register what happened and his answer was "sorry we can't do much about it" really? So they think that it's ok having the other costumers eat the germs of a kid that was even picking his nose and playing with that food i just hope that no one gets sick from this as for me and my family aren't coming back again ever!!!

The food wasn't very good, i think one of the oysters got me sick. But the service was alright

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Service was horrible, food was tolerable at best. It tasted like disappointment and regret. I should have went to olive garden.

Thay need to do better with the service

Food is good. Baked salmon the best. Wish staff was around a little more :) love that they have a separate room for big parties

This Buffet has gone the way of many of the Buffets in the area before it. Started out great. Food was hot. Always being replaced when getting low. Always someone behind the Buffet monitoring it. Sushi was fresh and kept up. Wait Staff always there to help out. That was years ago. Last night my wife and I went. Buffet was sparse. Food was low and barely warm. I got some deep fried breaded shrimp and it was raw inside. Wanted some more water. Looked around for a waiter. Couldn't find him at first. He was sitting at a table, eating, staring at his cell phone. In the 45 minutes we were there, I never saw anyone come out and check the food. Sushi, just sat there. I was afraid to try it, because I didn't know how long it had been sitting. Time to look for another Asian Buffet.

Great variety of Asian dishes - good food and attentive staff. We plan on returning.

The service is great.. But they didn't have fresh food and some of the food that was fresh was cold when it should have been warm.. So not sure if we will come back.. We tried this place before and gave another chance, however a third might not happen..

Best Chinese type buffet we have tried since landing in this location. Always fresh, and some very unique and interesting items on the buffet. Be sure to try the steamed selections. Whatever it is, it will be tasty and beautiful to see as well. We will be back, and likely many times !

Me and my pops meet here for it's usually just me and him at 11 a.m. when they open great food great service

The foods decent and I use to like going but recently I went and saw 5 roaches all over the booths against the wall. Nasty wont be back soon

Sitting inside and already want my meal comped. Staff didnt know anything when asked questions. Also front desk guy was playing games on computer and kept forgetting to bring what we asked for. No employees but him and chef who was in back. Food was horrible and bathroom's were so unsanitary! Never coming back again!

One of the best egg flower soups is made here. The food takes a minute but worth waiting for.

My husband and I came 2 hours before closing. When I noticed there was hardly any food out. Nothing I had specifically come to eat. I asked if they were putting anymore food out and they said no, but I’d get a discount, the lady said half off my bill. So I figured not too bad and filled up on what they had available. Which was pretty much just chicken and broccoli, and some green beans. We go to pay and the man refuses to give us half off and instead takes our youngest child’s meal off which was only about $2. So we ended up paying about $40 for mediocre chicken and broccoli. I could’ve gotten more bang for my buck at Panda Express! This was my 2nd time here, and I will not be back.

This place has a great atmosphere and amazing smelling hand soap. I do think they don't stock that much but it keeps the food hot. The sushi is very good. Trying new things is easy to do. It's very clean place, very open. I am definitely coming again I highly recommend.

Not worth your time. Place seemed like a typical Buffet but the menu was every limited for the price. Waiter never came back after dropping off our drinks. Mediocre food

Not bad for cheap chinese food buffet

Food is great. Staff is rude. I cant explain how terrible the mens restroom is. EVERYTIME I come I check to see if they have fixed the problems. Never. The "Problems" are. Poop. Like poop drawings on the stall doors. Also standard carvings of profanity on the walls. If they fixed the dang bathroom I would give it 4 stars. If the staff was better on top of that, it would get 5 stars. They REALLY need to fix their act a bit.

Delicious! First place the family picks if it's a meal out. Love going for lunch or dinner. Great service and fantastic food with lots of choices.

I was the best buffet ever. I will always come at the buffet and eat there. The Food was the best also the fruits are súper good.

Sadly we won't be back. Quality of food and service isn't anything close to what it used to be. Only plus was not having a single person in the buffet line...at 6pm on a Monday.

We love this place. It is the go-to lunch spot for my wife and I on my days off when the kids are in school! They have all the classics, and then some. They have fresh sushi too! Super friendly staff. Clean and tidy.

Food is okay, i used to really enjoy this place unfortunately when i was walking up to go get my food, i seen a baby roach on the glass climbing. At that point my stomach turned and i was gone.

It's a last second good place to go to. Been going here for years. I can't say it's perfect... But it does have a lot of food. It kind of tastes over the counter and not that fresh... But it's a good buffet overall when you don't know where else to go. Pretty decent prices... Under ten bucks a pop. Service is good very spacious as well.. Some of the booths are a little beat up and you may find one butt cheek floating... But the tables with the chairs are nice. It's a good spot to visit once every six months or so.

The dry sushi scared the sh out of me, I dont want food poisoning. Some looked fresh out of a freezer...the wasabi was crumbly not creamy.The eggs rolls had some weird ground meat...probably uneaten leftovers. The rice and white noodles were super bland and kind of hard. So mad! I only ate veggies and ice cream...NEVER AGAIN.
